Strategically located in south Texas, the Port of Corpus Christi is convenient to Laredo with access to the northern states of Mexico and the San Antonio area of Texas.

Long considered a liquid cargo port, the Port of Corpus Christi is striving to compliment their liquid cargo with facilities for dry cargo that are capable of accommodating vessels with a draft up to 45ft on its south side and 38ft on its north side.

A state of the art cold storage facility located on the north side has been instrumental for cargo development of a wide range of products from meats and poultry to fruits and vegetables.  The potential of this facility is limitless and Gulf Stream Marine, Inc. has both the equipment and personnel to meet the needs for the growth of this facility.

The Southside General Cargo Terminal offers Dock #8, the strongest open wharf in the Gulf of Mexico.  With abundant storage directly adjacent to the dock, a draft of 45ft and dockside rail transfer capabilities, this dock is ideal for a wide range of cargoes.

Since establishment of our Corpus Christi operations, Gulf Stream Marine has developed a motivated workforce, aggressive equipment acquisition and has joined forces with the Port of Corpus Christi to develop new opportunities for cargo and services.
